WHAT IS TCHOUKBALL?

Tchoukball is a team sport invented in the 1960s taking inspiration from handball, volleyball and Basque pelota. It was created by Dr Hermann Brandt, a Swiss biologist, who wanted a way of playing high-velocity sport whilst avoiding direct contact between players and thus reducing injuries. Est. 2008, Portsmouth Tchoukball Club is a friendly and welcoming community. Ably led by current UK Men's Assistant Head Coach Liam Green, the club is a great place for beginners and the nation's top athletes to come together, hone their skills and have some fun in the process
